in november 2011 i made a monographic one day show in the beautiful rooms of haller 6
for the first time i showed whatever i created since childhood days,
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
it was a 3 room exhibition,
outside you were guided by a red line:
the 1. room
divided in entrance with
the books magazines and portfolios including my styling work, added by prints on the wall also with own photographed stories.
and the hall
with my ceramics in black and white, colored glazed and non glazed sorted by shades and my pendant collection
--------------------------------------------------
the 2. room
*
all my drawings illustrations and prints on paper porcelain and textile from childhood since today,
as well a my first paperplates and bowls, the prequel to my ceramics
--------------------------------------------------
the 3. room
includes my guildings as well as my history as a haute couture textile designer,
preparing the room i discovered how many porcelains became textile,
*
guilding
i adored the antique redgold shades and the alchemy in hidden secrets of a goldsmith,
financial reasons with the high goldprice of the first oilcrises balked my plans to become one.
so i started guilding paper glas leather as well as textiles and porcelain(stoneware) ,
and fell in love with waxcarving which turned into spoons and rings and from pure solid silver,
the real beauty of metals starts with the oxidation when time goes by.
i am currently obsessed with all of your beautiful work! thank you! maybelle
