Years ago I found this little straw bloom at a flea market in belgium,
And inspired me to produce a straw story .
   i added palm, inspired through my travels to srilanka and the story of my husband, that his mother

 who grew up in India, made the straw stars of palm, and also corn leaves, when i tasted the first time, tamales in mexico.

i admit its definitely late for my summer production,

i had an intense past year, beautiful and fulfilling, 

and no time to post,

so before xmas i will show you what i did produce in the meantime,

the first 3 productions are made for paul, 

thank you for this exquisit unconventional and beautiful collaboration, 

which just goes in the 4rth year!!

i will never forget the beautiful pre summer   day i spend with my friend katja 

( she is a beautiful woman and photographer herself) 

and her daughters , painting their feet.

it was so intimate relaxing and feeling close  having her feet in my hands, 

while i was drawing with the henna paste and we were talking.

this wonderful slow time feeling.

unforgettable, the sound and feeling , it reminds mewhen i

i filled the sand from my sahara trip in a baking pan and made my step in it for my  photoshooting. 

homemade as the suitcase, filled with all your memories, if you can't go to the beach bring it home.
